The Magnetic Level Gauge provides reliable level measurement under diverse plant conditions, ensuring maintenance-free operation and safety in handling chemically aggressive, hazardous, or flammable fluids. Its operation is based on principles such as liquid equilibrium in communicating vessels, Archimedes’ principle of buoyancy, and magnetic attraction and repulsion. The gauge comprises a vertical chamber with a float containing a magnet, connection pipes to the vessel, optional isolation valves, and an external indicator scale with color-coded rotating magnets for clear visibility. Available in capsule and flapper types, it is suitable for applications involving high or low pressure and temperature, chemically aggressive or hazardous fluids, and optically similar fluid interfaces.
